Good battery, no power

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My ‘94 Bronco won’t turn over and no lights come on. I tried hooking half of a
set of jumper cables to the negative on the battery and touched the other side
to the fender, alternator bracket, block basically everything I could think of,
but I never even got any lights. Suggestions?

What are the condition of the battery cells ? Have you performed a specific gravity check on the battery cells (battery acid check) with a hydrometer. Are the battery cell plates bent ? Check all the fuses are OK. Check the condition of the main battery cables as well.
Cables appear to be in good shape. I just bought the truck about 4 days ago. It has done this a couple times before. I would turn the key off and try it again and it would start right up. I found the ground strap from the body to the frame under the passenger side seat had broken. I reattached it but still no lights or anything.
Not yet, I’m broke down about 20 miles from the parts store and I don’t wanna make too many trips. Would the headlights not come on if it’s the ignition?
Were you able to find the problem? I just bought this 93 5.0 bronco and same exact issue. What did you find could be your problem?
