Dear holmes307-- It sounds like the time the Three Stooges got jobs as plumbers and by the end of the episode water was coming out of the telephone receiver and the overhead chandeliers. Electrical systems on cars are as fussy as three kids in the backseat. Get someone who knows about these things to take a look at your installation job and repair the mistakes you have made. Fortunately you probably didn't ruin anything permanently. Good luck from Bovan.
