why does my 2006 chevy aveo start hard only the first start of the day....after it is running it starts fine anr runs great

have replaced the timing belt recentley...new plugs wires...valve cover gasket and oil change......first start of the day you have to play with the gas pedal to get it going....turns over fine wants to sart but won t....kinda goes chug chug chug....then you play with the gas it starts ....runs fine the rest of the day....noproblem starting after it is running......runs fine allkinds of H P no problems after it is running...no lights on dash either
