Usually vapor lock occurs only on carbureted cars and the 94 Mustang is fuel injected. So I am thinking the problem is in the fuel itself. Gasoline is seasonally blended meaning Winter fuel has a lower vaporization point and will boiling easier in hot weather than Summer fuel. So if this car has been in storage and the fuel is old Winter blend. Use up as much as you can and refill with fresh fuel. Hope that works.
