3L or 3.2L v6 SHO swap in Probe GT

Asked by Kyle Oct 23, 2014 at 06:00 AM about the 1994 Ford Probe GT

Question type: Car Customization

I own a 1994 ford probe GT. I've
swapped the engine once with the
same 2.5L but these engines are very
problematic. I've been looking into
the old Ford Taurus SHO motors.
From the research I've done I see
that the 3.2L is for an automatic
transmission. I was wondering if
there is a 3.2L v6 SHO in 5 speed?
Also, from what I have learned
recently, the 3.0L SHO fits directly up
to my current 5 speed transmission. I
would like to know if this would be a
somewhat simple swap? I am not
doing the swap myself and I'm a
college student so I am pretty
budgeted haha. Thanks, Kyle

You may be able to drop the engine in but what are you going to do with the electronics?
