First, pick out the turbo set up you want. There's quite a few good ones so do your homework. Once you have made your choice. Go to the manufacturer site and see what what special tools you're going to need. Sometimes it is better to have a pro do the installation or at least the technical part.
ok thx but what do i do to install it on my probe heres what i got: http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1993_1997_probe/performance/tur bos/turbo_kits/cx_racing/cxra00002376.html
Ok, so you got the turbo kit you wanted. Did it come with an instruction book? You're going to have to read it and read it again. Your going to have to remove the exhaust manifold and replace it with the one in the kit. That job can be a b@#=/h! My thoughts are to take it to a muffler shop and let them fight with it. And as for the other stuff follow the instructions.
ok i did get a instruction book and i will take it to my friends shop and have him do it for more than a reasonable price because the muffler is rusted and that was on the list so thx
You won't regret having someone else do the bull work. One stripped bolt and your behind the 8 ball. Let me know how it turns out.
BTW. If you haven't bought the exhaust system yet, look into larger size diameter pipe. You will have a lot more exhaust going out now.
