Loosing power

Hi there! Please help me if anyone can it
would be awesome:) I have a 95 chevy
G20 van that I recently bought and it ran
good until recently I've been driving a lot
up and down hills and it's started loosing
power! It struggles to go over 50mph
without shuddering and only goes 30mph
uphill while loosing speed! It also struggles
to gear down when loosing speed!
Please help:):) thanks so much in advance

It's a 4.3l v6 and it has about 140000 miles on it! We've driven it just over 100miles since we got it and did a oil change but haven't done anything with regards to transmission fluid! Thanks for the response:)

The oil looks good the transmission fluid is in the cold area when checking only after driving a few miles!! It is a transparent red colour as well, but not sure if adding more would be harmful if it doesn't need!
