94 ford ranger standard 3.0 6 cyl wont start

Question type: General

Won't start replaced fuel relay switch we pushed it
and it started but then died right after and I have
not been able to get it started again I smell gas so I
think it's getting gas please help if you can

Battery has a full charge and connections all good? Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs? If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse, where applicable. How long since a tune up? Any applicable trouble codes? A note, if you have tfi module that module is noted for problems. I can't say if replacing that module will fix your problem? good luck
