Pick up a new or rebuilt unit, whatever you want. Then just start removing any nuts and bolts that appear to hold the old one in. Reverse the procedure and your done. Do not waste and time between removing the old unit and installing the replacement or you might forget where particular fasteners go. BUT, before yo start, be sure to disconnect the car battery so you don't burn anything up with a short. Reconnect the battery as the last step when you are done. Be prepared to key in any necessary coded which are anti-theft codes for your sound system and or other electronic accessories.
