2000 Monte Carlo SS that power on but don't start

I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS that will power on
lights , AC and radio comes on but when I turn the
key to start it up everything turns off. I replaced the
ignition and key and the battery. But still want
start.

Try cleaning your key and what i did is bought a pocket size diagnostic scanner! plug it in under your dash reset your computer! Its works and im not stranded anymore!
I had the same problem, it’s a security issue, theft lock I think it’s called. Turn your key to accessory mode and the security light on the dash, leave it in accessory mode and don’t touch anything until the security light stops flashing, should take about 15 min then it should fire right up
