ignition switch...ignition relay....undervoltage condition to chassis....read the trouble codes by connecting to the OBD-II port,,,not three feet from the ignition switch...this scanner is about fifteen bucks~

....sounds like a classic case of a corroded MAIN ground...the black batttery cable has two terminals...the BLACK one has a length then attaches to the frame with a bolt and lug...this is the end of the black 1/0 cable...undo the bolt...wirebrush the lug free of any corrosion to show shiny metal...same with the spot that it bolts too...wire brush that spot....put them together...get a NEW battery (yours is most assuredly older than five years old) at which time they should be replaced because ten percent per year is how they slowly stop accepting a charge.~ the date of it's first charge can be noted on "knock-off" indicators of month and year~

I moved my 2004 Monte Carlo SS Supercharge into my parking space, turned the car off and realize i anted to adjust it. Turn the key and absolutely nothing. Recently changed battery about a year ago.
