Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My resonator is bad, rotted out. I ordered a new one from WALKER.
Looks like it doesn't just bolt on though.
Has anyone ever replaced there resonator ??  And did you have to have the exit end wellded to the exhaust pipe ???

Please advise..... any help would be appreciated.

You will have to have the end welded on unless you can find a coupler at the parts store. I would have replaced the resonator with a straight piece of pipe.

When I got my exhaust work done for performance replacements, I had them replace the resonator with a straight pipe. They had to weld it on. I would highly suggest welding it on to avoid any exhaust leaks. -modified 02 mc owner
