it is a main ground connection issue....follow the other end of the clamp Black battery terminal...yes, the 1/0 battery cable that connects to the chassis ground..disconnect the lug...wirebrush the lug....wirebrush the chassis (place the lug bolts to) insure a full 12.5 volts to the ECU, BCM, ignition system and fuel pump....relays as well need to see full voltage or it ain't gonna run~

If it was a main ground issue then there would be more than three items being effected. The ignition switch has an orange wire coming from it that ties to all three of those items and also to the optional rear view mirror with the temp and compass in it. Check the voltage at any of the fuses marked hvac or cruise next time this happens, run a jumper write to one of those fuses and see if you get power to those items.

Not to mention the fact that the person stated that it will intermittently work while driving down the road.

two things..fuel pressure regulator and EGR valve....both these things can fail and leave you in the condition that you're at~ can come up with prices and cartoons so you know what to look for if you're not mechanically inclined..~?
