it is a main ground connection issue....follow the other end of the clamp Black battery terminal...yes, the 1/0 battery cable that connects to the chassis ground..disconnect the lug...wirebrush the lug....wirebrush the chassis (place the lug bolts to) insure a full 12.5 volts to the ECU, BCM, ignition system and fuel pump....relays as well need to see full voltage or it ain't gonna run~
If it was a main ground issue then there would be more than three items being effected. The ignition switch has an orange wire coming from it that ties to all three of those items and also to the optional rear view mirror with the temp and compass in it. Check the voltage at any of the fuses marked hvac or cruise next time this happens, run a jumper write to one of those fuses and see if you get power to those items.
Not to mention the fact that the person stated that it will intermittently work while driving down the road.
i have a 2003 monte carlo ss. it was running great but on day it just cutting out want pick up no speed get up to like 40mph. And then you can like drive the car 2 or 3 miles an park it an let it sit for 2 or 3 mints it want start its like its stalling for gas. so you just have to let it sit their come back an it will start right up. so we thought it was the fuel pump took the tank down and put it back up I just wouldn't start at all wasn't getting no fire to the fuel pump wire at all I don't know whats wrong with it can someone help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

two things..fuel pressure regulator and EGR valve....both these things can fail and leave you in the condition that you're at~ can come up with prices and cartoons so you know what to look for if you're not mechanically inclined..~?
Tijuan how did you test voltage to the fuel pump? Step by step.
