I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado. In the past two years the truck has died, at random, while driving. This usually occurs when the gas is between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank. So I have been keeping the truck over half a tank. Though it was driving fine yesterday, this morning it began sputtering (heavily) when i accelerate and i can smell smoke. I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3. Truck idles good when in park but when I put it into gear the check engine light comes on. P0307, witch is Cylinder 7 misfiring. Ive changed all the lifters,coils,injectors and solnoids. Plugs and wires as well. Even turned off the AFM to see if that would help. cleaned the pushrods, made sure they worked. valley cover has been cleaned as well 2 Answers
