Question type: Maintenance & Repair
it got very cold then above freezing with heavy rain. it started to run rough during the wet weather. and now that it is in the low 20s and teens it is sputtering badly when I accelerate. I am at 200k and due for plugs wires and oil. its a 5.3 and also CEL flashes while accelerating. all I can say is WTH is wrong?

these have a fragile wire that does all the heavy lifting...is a bit like a tungsten filament...they will break~
hey what harm can it do. its not expensive and it has probably never been changed. I've had her for three years and have not so thank you and we shall see how it goes. I will let you know.
OK I changed the MAF/IAT and it made no difference. even cleaned the permanent filter. Should the IAT be separate or a unit. I miss my smooth running truck. Help anybody
