Engine shutting off randomly while driving or idling

My 1997 chevy silverado 5.7L engine randomly shouts off while driving or
idling. Usually it will crank back up within a short period of time. Have replaced
fuel pump several times.

I had the same problem. Found to be electronic ignition module.

My 94 chevy 1500 silverado shuts off while driving just got out of shop still doing same thing 1,500 latter
