My 1998 chevy Silverado idles high in park. Aprox. 1500 rpms. I keep getting
throttle position sensor code and Idle air control valve. I don't understand it.
Neither did part stores. What could it be?

Do you know someone with a scantool that can read live values. You need to read there actual values or test the sensors in their installed postion to see if they are giving you the right output. There should be adjustments on your TPS. I would try to adjust that sensor. I believe 0.2 volts is the traget for no throttle input but don't quote me on that.
