so- brake work- did you give your car to a Gorilla? Stay away from those kinda "mechanics" at this point all you can do is ask Magilla what he did to your car-
My 2003 is 4wd and has disk brakes on all 4. From my past of working on old cars with drum brakes. I have a couple ideas, but also now there are so many electrical things that can affect certain things. First did you replace them or have a mechanic? Not to be rude but I had a customer who needed new pads for his disk brakes, decided he and his nephew would do it. He came in a week later with brake noise. They put the pad in backwards so the metal was facing the rotor. Shoes could be put in backwards to. Most chevy's these days, you can get it into gear unless you push brake pedal down, and if installed wrong they may not send a signal to allow it to get out of park. Were the brakes bled, if air is in the line, might cause a problem. I am old retired mechanic and there not much on the newer cars that I either don't understand, or I can't distort my body to get to certain areas. In 40 yrs there has only been one person work on my vehicles, and that just in the last year on. I could find the code with my OB2, but I didn't have skills or a scope to tell me exactly where the problems, it just gets you close. So don't take this as the correct fix, I am just suggesting area's you could look at. Good luck.
