Have you checked to make sure the fuel pump is running when you turn on the ignition? You should be able to hear it pressure (only takes a second or two so maybe have someone listen close to the gas tank for the fuel pump. Also, check the fuel pump relay to make sure it is good.
How do you check relay? Also i noticed security flashing in upper right corner. Thanks
Look at the fuse box or where the relays are. I'm not sure where on a 1500 but you can google search for the locations. When you turn the key on but not far enough to engage the starter, you should hear the fuel pump run for a short period. If it doesn't seem to be running then look in the fuse/relay box and see if there is another relay that is the same (look at the numbers on the top of the relays) and if you have one that is the same, swap it out and then listen again to see if the pump is running. Also, the system from which you swapped the relay, check and see if it functions with the swapped relay. Make sure and put a piece of tape on the fuel pump relay so you know which one is which after you do the swapping. RE the security flashing, I am not certain what impact that would have if any.
The fuel pump runs when i 1st turn key on,motor fires then dies everytime i turn key on.It seams like fuel pump comes on initially then doesn't after it fires..
I guess i will have computer flashed and maybe it will crank
Ok,i reset computer and it cranks good but now shifter will not budge.Foot on the brake etc... it will not move
It was working great before all this happened behind a radio i plugged in out of another truck
