1998 Chevy Silverado Truck will not stay running

Truck will crank and run in the daylight but will crank and die if its dark..Will
not stay running if its dark.I just got through resetting computer and thought

Only thought i have on this is if you have head lights on when running at night or not,sounds like the alternator may be dragging it down,but hard to say without knowing if you are running lights when it does this?
load test the charging system ..and why not change the fuel filter....really
I put a new headlight switch in yesterday and she purrs like a kitten day and night.Thanks

Oh my god do you realize you have the first nocturnal truck.your a millionare.now let's stop.let's see if you up plug the iron it is nonlonger hot.you are not getting gas.clean all carb area filter.air filter High octaine gas.that is step 1.2 something is getting (hot) ) look for it fuel pump always.believe me if it runs during it will run at nght.I go back to the days of auto car
