Won't crank. New battery. Signal lights flashing and beeping sound.

1994 Chevy Silverado 1500
Replaced dead battery. Signal lights are flashing and the truck is making a beeping sound. It won't crank, won't even turn over. Any thoughts? (this Ask Question doesn't offer a year earlier than 99)

Possible security system problem. Try locking and unlocking the doors and cycling the ignition switch. Look up the system reset on the internet.
