Engine hits but won't run

My friend changed engines from a 4.3 to a 5.7 in  
his 92 Chevy four wheel drive, the problem is as
soon as it starts the injectors stop firing, can
anyone please help us with this problem. It's
driving us batty.

Make sure your friend changed over the entire engine control system including the computer and wiring harness from the 5.7. OR buy a stand alone engine management controller from one of the online sources.
