Chevy 1500 steering really hard to turn

I have a 99 chevy 1500 4wd, was out in a snow storm last night. In 4wd going fine. I
parked to get gas and then when I went to start again the steering was pretty much
impossible to move...and was getting a bad vibration going down the road.

My power steering fluid is normal, pump hasn't made any noises. I have no idea what
could be wrong any help

Nope, sure wasn't. I think I've narrowed it down to the power steering pump shaft sheared off...which caused the pulley to be loose, and shake. And hence lost of power steering. Not 100% though

I can move the pulley in and out about inch and a half, with belt still attached
