2014 chevy 1500 Silverado RPM fails to return to idle

Release gas pedal, engine does no return to, idle, generally sticks at 1500rpm, fights me at stops.

you should have warranty on that thing! anyway, it could be a bad Throttle position sensor. you should have a check engine light though.
