Stop drinking and learn to like riding the bus to work even though bus driver doesn't want to go where you want him to go.

That scanner code is as helpful as swervsalot... It says it's a problem with the downstream O2 sensor. Since you are not getting anything to fire on starting fluid, the problem is in the ignition side. See if you can find the firing order and how to run the spark plug wires.

THX transpeed, I understand p0420 as a cat issue but I'm on the bus... I do have wires running correctly and firing order is 18726543 1 being p/s firewall. I did replace crank sensor since I had starter off I'm keeping battery charged . Connections good harnesses intact. Any additional gifts of knowledge is appreciated.

Do I have spark ...mmm naa!...I'm not sure how to do that test by myself I'll have pop's tomorrow to hell crank while I check. Thars putting plug wire end to plastic covered pliers to see ark while pops cranks right?

Timing gear or chain is shot, and why did add the valve cover gaskets for a engine that wouldn't start unless you were seeing if the valves were loose or rocker arms. .I am a old time mechanic, so am not completely up on the newer engines and all the dam relays and fuse's etc, lol. I finally got myself an OBII and and go thru the procedure. I now have some body else work on my car, I just want to know what the problem is before a mechanic tells me. Since I became a mechanic I have only one person work on any of my cars. Body is so screwed up now, I can't twist my body to get at parts anymore.
