So I have 265/75/R16 and just was wondering just
I need to put a lift kit on to be able to move up to
18 inch wheels

18's might work as long as you use low profile tires. Use an online tire size calculator to compare what you have now to available 18" tires.

285/60 -18's would be nearly an inch wider but almost exactly the same diameter.
