The ECM that was replaced matched the original numbers on old ECM?
Not sure. I hoping. They bought it off some sort online store. You turn key on a code reader says no codes present The check engine light is lit but no security light in message area
If the numbers dont match old ecm to new one,it will have to be flashed to the truck.
I starting to think that may be part of problem. Because code reader won't pull any codes out of it. You can leave key on and unplug a sensor crank engine or what ever and it won't throw a code
