2001 Chevrolet Silverado

I just recently rebuilt my transmission and I was driving
from my work to pick some stuff up and my transmission
lost its pull, and it will run it just wont shift gears, my
thermostat hasn't been running to running temp and my
torque converter is a little old but I'm leaning more towards
the thermostat any ideas on what it might be???

Thermostat has nothing to do with the transmission. Check the transmission fluid level and all connections to the transmission.
