2001 chev Silverado 1500 tries to start without key in ignition

My truck has an aftermarket remote start, other than that its stock. Washed
the truck the other night, drove it home (10 minutes) shut it off and 10 minutes
later it started cranking over on its own. No key in the ignition. I disconnected
the battery and removed power from the remote start module. Truck still tries
to start on its own as soon as I hook up the battery. Anyone know why?
