any trick to boost fuel economy

fuel economy is suffering, tires inflated properly, air filter is clean, not heavy on the gas, run smoothly,
just lacks decent milage. 4.8l v8 4wd auto trans, aluminum cap, carry tools. looking for fuel performance
increasing without breaking bank.

if your tires make road noise its eating 3 mpg [roll resistance] big time, everything you did is right, the cap,easy peddle,ect, maby 5 extra pounds in tires,and another big factor is and i mean big is brand of fuel, my tundra varies from 15 to 17-1/2 by brand

change the spark plugs , oil , add a K&N air intake , a new exhaust system , and If you want more add a bully dog system. All this will add more fuel economy and extra horse power.
