Question type: Maintenance & Repair

94 Ranger 150,000 miles has a clunking sound coming from the right rear
wheel it also feels like there’s a slight shimmy that’s more pronounced at slow

Pull the right rear wheel off and inspect the suspension and brakes. The shock/strut is a good place to start for both of those symptoms.

Try spinning the wheel and look for any play in the hub bearing, but to really check it you need to remove the caliper and rotor (or drum if that's what you have) to access the bearing, and to really really check it you need a dial indicator to gauge it's internal clearances. A bad tire can also cause a shimmy at certain speeds too.
