Valve tapping and a knock sound

Had a friend who is supposed
to be a licensed macanic
replace all the gaskets in my
chevrolet silverado 1500 4.3 v6
2wd he checked and torgue all
my rocker arms to what they
needed to be now  I have a
po200 and valve tapping and a
knock can some one help me
out plz

Find a different mechanic. He may have not adjusted the valves correctly or perhaps he missed something else.
