Truck spitting and sputtering

2001 Chevy Silverado V6 wants to spit and sputter
like it's running out of gas when I get at a cruising
speed and try to keep it at a constant speed as
long as I speed up it doesn't spit and sputter as
bad but when I try to keep it at a constant 60 mile-
an-hour 70 whatever it wants to spit and sputter
