Here's maybe a challenge for y'all. My truck is a 02
Chevy Silverado v6 4.3 liter & it's running awful. At
an idol runs rough,hi rpm's at 3,000 + runs
smoothly. Let off it wasn't 2 die . Does the same n
neutral. Put it in Drive with the foot on the brake,
push on the gas and it wants to stall and die, does
not go past 1000rpm & n reverse aslo. Codes pop
up p0101 & p0300 . IV checked the distributor cap
rotor and wires plugs. Don't know what 2 do now. I
would like to get some of advice seems like y'all
know what y'all talking about.

Thanks 4 responding so quickly. I will try that out and if it works I won't respond back again.

4.3 v6 2005 Silverado Just went through the same issue, was a plugged catalytic converter.. pull upstream 02 sensors completely out without damaging, clear codes, start it upand retest codes.. all should be gone other than a new code for 02 sensors obviously. Take if for a drive if the codes are gone then it's the catalytic converter, you'll probably even notice a huge increase in power as your engine can breathe again... Hope this helps someone.
