Question type: Maintenance & Repair

02 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L had the battery light
come on and flashed at me for 2 days then stayed
on followed by the check engine light. When i was
driving truck started trying to cut out and I got it
home shut it off and now it wont fire. It just cranks
over sounds like it tries to catch but it doesn't and
won't start can hear fuel pump working with key
forward. Im stumped need ideas.

Would do a load test on battery and check the alternator for proper voltage output along with a code test first. Make sure all connection are clean and tight. Might wind up being something simple as a loose wire to module issue. Good Luck!
