How to remove two spark plugs closest to the firewall

Is there a special method that goes into removing
the last two spark plugs closest to the firewall on
this LS motor never had to do it before and they
look awfully fucking close and I need to get them
changed it's my father-in-law's truck and all six of
the ones prior look like needles on the end of the
spark plugs so they definitely need to be changed
