Any problems I should be worried about?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had the car for awhile now, sadly I have not driven it yet because I don't have my licence yet!!
A friend of my dads gave it to me, it was a daily driver, has been well maintained and has about 300,000km on it.
Is there any problems I should worry about in the future?

The most common issues are suspension bits, like ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links, and coil springs. That's about it.

Flush the tranny asap and change the filter. Other than that expect the usual high mile stuff. ie alternator, starter, brakes, cv axles. The transmissions are the only weak link keep on top of changing the filter and fluid and it will be fin. You might want to add an extra cooler to be on the safe side.

I forgot to mention that the previous did have the recall work done it, something about the headgasket(I can't remember what it was exactly)
