Headers

Asked by hevjust May 17, 2009 at 01:27 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

What headers would you use on a 5.3 v8. Do you have to get headers that have the erg valve and if so does it have to be electronic or not. Thanks for your input.

go to jegs and try to find yourself an entire system instead of just a set of headers. the entire system will be tuned and give you max power. jegs will tell you what systems are right for your truck online.

What ever type of header you buy it must have the bung for the 02 sensor. Long headers will give you the most torque.
