I have a 2003 chevy silverado 4.3 v6. I want
it to sound good. What is the best setup to
make it happen.  Straight,s or muffler

I would say a Y-pipe from the exhaust manifold to a dual outlet muffler with tail pipes out the rear end. Remember you have to incorporate the O2 sensors and a cat into the exhaust. Check out jegs.com

A V-6 will never have that V-8 rumble and never sound good.
