Truck keeps trying to cut out after driving for a few minutes

Asked by James Nov 26, 2016 at 01:44 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I start my truck up and it idles fine. I can drive to
the store down the street and it's is fine. But going
to work or my in-laws next town over and it tries
cutting out for a few seconds with spit and sputter
and after that it clears up. I'm lost as to what the
problem is.
