04 silverado

I have a 04 silverado I just replaced the hole front
end when I got done I changed the oil and started
the truck it fired right up but it idealing high just
figured it was from the cold let it warm up when I
got in and hit the gas it reved up like normal but
when I let out it dropped rmp and died. So I started
it back up n tried to put it n gear n it dies less I
keep my foot on the gas. Does anyone have any
ideas

Did this get into a wreck? Never the less I suspect the Throttle Position Sensor and or wiring harness. On that truck it is a common problem for the wiring harness at the plugin to have broken wires. I just did this, I put a new TPS on and it came with the new plugin. I had a code of p1516.
