how would I find if my truck has pause a track

Try this site https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/Chevrolet/SILVERADO You should be able to pull up a build sheet based on your VIN and see if Posi-traction was an option on your truck. Or you can do it the old fashioned way and mash the gas pedal from a stop and see if both rear wheels spin or just one. If unsure, just check the black tire marks you left on the road.

Hi I had a 1991 Sierra, with pause traction. There was a plate on rear axle? Look for plate some where on rear axle or differential? Good Luck! Take care and be safe!
