2004 chevy Silverado won't start

I have a 2004 chevy Silverado has not been turned on for
2 years and I go start it and it turns on then turns off in 2
seconds

the gas tank should have been dropped and cleaned , check for power and ground at the fuel pump disconnect when it dies , try an octane booster if you don't want to clean out the tank or open the fuel rail and see what comes out , don''t start any fires

Sending unit float sensor is stuck, that happens in most vehichles that sit for that long
