Trying to pinpoint the problem

I was sitting at a red light and when the light turns
green I
proceeded through the light and made a left turn and
when I did there was a small I'm in my truck act like it
was
in neutral so I pulled in the parking lot gas station and
towed the truck to my house now when you start the
truck
and put it in Drive I just revs up like it's in neutral but if
you
put it in park it does like a normal transmission shiuld
and
