I replace the master cylinder and front brake calipers on my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 liter I bled the system numerous times and I still cannot get a break that'll back what would be the reasons

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before putting it on?

brakes needs to be bleed firts wiht a battie and ahose on secuency then you have to bleeded wiht the sccaner

Also have to bleed abs unit. Will need a pro scan tool for the job . Sounds as if air trapped in abs pump

I would have mentioned that if I had a response back from the questioner. As you must know you can bleed the brakes all day long and not get the brake pedal back if air had gotten into the ABS unit.

I just had a very bad experience with the brakes sticking on a 2005 Silverado Z71. 3 different master cylinders 2 sets of calipers 3 sets of brake shoes. Brake lines. Still sticking. Ended up being the booster.
