What is normal oil pressure for a Chevrolet Silverado 1500

sounds like you have some issues...camshaft bearing with affect it also....anyway 30lbs or more at idle and we / i like 10 lbs per 1000 rpm...if you spin it to 6 thousand rpm then 60 lbs....
Hot at idle 35-38 psi at 700 rpm, 1500 rpm 55 psi stable, at 2200 rpm 60 psi new oil pump and the Engine is a 5.3 B code Engine with 237000 miles. Kenneth P.

38psi at 700 rpm ..40 at 1500 or above ..sometime 44 at 4500 but that's a 90mph and above 264000 miles 02 Chevy Silverado
I have 50 at idle fully up to temp and 65-70 going down the Road
Question, I have a 2013 4x4 Silverado Crew cab. I think my oil pressure is running to low. It gave me a code it was to low. I've had the oil sending unit and screen filter replaced and code clear. When I drove it to work tonight it's low again. When I started it 40 + lbs, if I push on the gas very much it moves up and down some with speed. But while I'm driving it normally it drops to around 20. Then when I parked in parking lot at work and let it idle it goes down to about 10. This truck has the drop out cylinders on it to make it a 4cyclinder. What do you think. Can it be the oil pump or something else.
My 09 Silverado LT, 5.3 Vortec, not the flex fuel edition. 32-35 psi at 400-600 rpm idle (cammed). 36- 38 psi at 2000 rpm cruising speed (77mph). 40-45 when running her hard (3500+ rpm).
All depends on oil as well. In northern states, where it’s colder, you would use a higher viscosity oil (thicker), so oil pressure would be higher. Warm states like the one i live in would use regular or even lower viscosity oil. Even running full synthetic or regular motor oil can affect oil pressure. It’s many factors, so every truck is different, but most answers should be at least somewhat close together.
My 05 runs at about 32 to 34psi with 360,842 miles on it. Have never had to any motor work to it even pulling a 32' fatherlight camper all over the US. But finally starting to get metal shavings in oil. What is the best route to go to rebuild and get me about another 100 horses or so?
