2005 6.0 diesel starts and runns drives upon stopping trying to restart it does not any ideals

do you have a check engine light on it sounds like a no fuel problem,you need a scanner go to data turn key on, and that will tell you,otherwise it's a guessing game,the obd 2 scan can't just read codes those only cost 50-60$ ,that may work if the check engine is on,but if not you will need the scan tool that has data monitering option they cost about 129.00$ let me know I will help

Pull the injectors and see if you get fuel spurting out. It may be a computer problem or clogged line. My money is on electronics. A good diagnostic read will help.
