2006 Chevy Silverado Will Not Start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Truck sat idle for a few months this winter and battery went dead. I recharged the battery. Truck sounds like it is attempting to start but will not finish cranking. Any ideas? Was thinking maybe the battery is not sending enough juice to get the job done...

hard to say..try and starting it with a battery charger/jump..did the fuel pump prime ? all air out of the fuel lines?did you open the fuel line at the rail/intake manifold >
tried starting it with the charger on it; same result; kind of acts like it is not getting fuel. How do I tell if the fuel pump primed. I have not done anything with the fuel line yet. Thank you for your ideas.
