Fifth Wheel towing 03 Chevy 2500HD 6.0

I have an 03 Chevy 2500HD 6.0 with a gooseneck I am looking to buy a new
fifth wheel. My current fifth wheel is a 33ft Cardinal with a gooseneck adapter
the GVWR 14,100. My truck has no problem pulling it. The new fifth wheel I
am looking at is a Palomino  Columbus F383FB. The specs are Hitch weight
2632, Gross Weight 16,164, Dry Weight 13,164. The plan is not to travel the
country in it at this time But to pull it about an hour from the dealer and setit
up on a perm lot for a few years. if I were to travel with it I would buy a bigger
truck. I guess my big question is will my truck pull it. I have read several
forums but I am a bit confused.

Yes your truck will pull it. A few years ago I was in a similar situation except my truck was a 2009 Chevy 2500 with the 6.0 motor. I pulled my 5th wheel approx 3400 miles up and down the east coast and midwest for work. At the time it was all i could afford. There were a lot of white knuckle moments but I was poor and that was the best truck i could afford.
