will the rims from a 2011 chevy 2500, fit on a 2004 chevy 2500

I have a set of almost new tires for 17 inch rims, my truck is a 2004 with 16 inch rims.  I am wondering if I am able to get my hands on a set of 2011 OE rims, will I be able to mount the tires on my truck

I would say almost certainly. You can always try one out and see.
